Ginger:
The 7th match in round 1 of the Grammy's took place this morning. Cher v Dusty Springfield.
Amber:
Cher won the toss of the coin and served from the back of the court. Some fine squash being played by both players but Cher making mistakes which could cost her. Dusty looking good at the front and keeping the pressure on. Cher manages a wonderful nick and gets a valuable point. The first half going to Dusty 9-1.
Ginger:
The second half begins and Cher now at the front of the court takes an early lead and piles on the pressure.
Dusty struggling at the back of the court. Cher now 7-0 in the lead and Dusty is under pressure. A great boast see Dusty getting the valuable point. They are now even.
Amber:
Dusty needs just another point to take the match but is unable to get the valuable point. They are even and the match goes to a deciding point.
Cher serves from the front and a great rally ensues. Dusty plays a wonderful shot and it looks like a winner!
Both players look a little perplexed. VAR Spock gets involved and it would appear the ball has landed on the line.
The point is replayed and after another rally Cher takes the point Dusty unable to find the front wall. Perhaps a visit to Spec savers?
Cher takes the match 11 -10.
