Amber:
The last match of the first round. Elvis V Rhianna.
Rhianna wins the toss of the 20p coin and serves from the back.
Rhianna makes an immediate impression by taking the first point. Elvis a little shook up responds and it is point for point right up to 6-6.
Elvis then manages to pull away and finishes the first half 9-6.
Ginger:
The second half about to start but Rhianna requests a comfort break and this delays the start. Once underway. Elvis serves from the back of the court. Rhianna is on form and takes the first couple of points. Elvis does not appear to be on his game. Eventually Elvis manages to get some points on the score board.
Some furious rallies and fantastic retrieving by Elvis from the back of the court and slowly Elvis gets another point. This unfortunately was the end for Elvis as he could not close the gap and the final score:
Elvis 12 v Rhianna 15.
Amber:
Elvis complained about the court which had just undergone a refurbishment. This caused a considerable amount of dust which made the court slippery. The court was cleaned a number of times but the dust remained
Elvis however left his mark on the walls of the court with his non marking squash racquet failing to NON MARK!!!!
