North Channel Challenge
The 19th Swim in the North Channel Challenge took place at Lake 86 this morning.
Overcast with sunny spells
A slight wind which created pleasant waves on the water.
A Canadian Goose or two showing us all how it should be done and a beautiful elegant white swan at the end on the ramp preening!!!!!
This session was one of faulty goggles. One leaking and the other fogging up. AH !!! Such minor inconveniences when one thinks of Mercedes Gleitze.
Well 15.96 miles completed and 5.79 miles remaining.
You can almost see and smell the TATTIES and NEEPS!!!!!!!
I am sure a wee drop of dram will be sipped and a hearty welcome in the highlands. Not quite the highlands but hey!
