Ginger & Amber Fingertoe
Amber:
George Michael V Cilla Black.
This is the third match of the second round and George wins the toss.
Serving from the back of the court George starts the first half.
The court Temperature is very, very hot and both players are engaged in long drawn out rallies which zaps their strength.
Ginger:
Cilla from the front of the court takes a 5-0 lead and finally George gets on the score board but both players are feeling the heat.5-1
Amber:
The ball is red hot and George gets another point on the score board through an error by Cilla.
Cilla pushes on and after long rallies in blistering heat Cilla takes the first half 9-3.
Both players need a few minutes to recover and take on board water.
Ginger:
The second half gets underway and Cilla now at the back of the court but George is on fire literally and takes a 6-0 lead.
Cilla finally gets on the score board. soon after this George hits the corner of the court wall and the ball ricochets out of bounds. 7-2 to George.
The heat is at boiling point and finally George takes the match 12-11.
A wonderful match in extreme conditions.
Amber:
Cilla is dripping in Surprise, Surprise. Whilst George dons his WHAM 'T Shirt'
George through to the Quarter Finals will face Cher or Whitney.
