Sunday the 4th August 2024. Lake 86
The 23rd Swim of the North Channel Challenge.
Another mile completed in Overcast conditions but warm water. Approx 18 degrees.
Now a mere 1.49 Miles remaining.
Of note A Moorhen and flotilla of chicks swam across our bows which was quite wonderful.
One of the competitors had a wardrobe failure which resulted in a squashed head and subsequently an uncomfortable swim.
The coast of Scotland is in sight and the Tartan Cliffs are visible.
Could one more swim complete this Challenge?
